Rentech, Inc. (Amex: RTK - News) has commented on the landmark test flight (previous post) by the Air Force of a B-52 utilizing Fischer-Tropsch (FT) fuels at Edwards Air Force Base. The Company believes this is an important step in the development of the coal-to-liquids (CTL) clean synthetic fuels industry for the United States and the U.S. military to ensure both energy security and the security of the country's borders.
